While we recognise that it is difficult for everyone to keep all fragrance off their clothing, and that fragrance is a very common thing in many products, including laundry products, we ask that you not use fragranced body products (perfume, cologne, skin cream, hair spray/gel) before coming to Garden Club meetings. Chemicals in scented products cause serious health problems for persons with lung diseases like asthma, chronic obstructive lung disease and chemical sensitivity disorder. Being near a scented product makes these illnesses worse.
